How to send an email to the LDB?
If, for example, you send an offer to your customer and want to record the email in the LDB, then enter your LDB submission address (see above) in the BCC: field of the email (the customer's email address goes into the TO: field as usual).

If the email recipient's address is stored in the LDB, the email will be automatically assigned to this customer.

It may take a few minutes for the email to appear in the LDB. This depends on your email program, internet connection, and email servers.
Forwarding an email you received from your customer
If you have received an email from your customer that you wish to forward to the LDB, click Forward in your email program and enter your LDB submission address in the TO: field. Do not change anything else in the email (the LDB automatically determines the relevant customer from the From: line).

Which address field (TO:, CC:, or BCC:) should the LDB submission address be placed in?
Use the BCC: field when you send emails to a customer and want to forward them simultaneously to the LDB.
Use the TO: field when you want to forward an email you received to the LDB.
Do not use the CC: field to send emails to the LDB, as your submission address would otherwise become visible to other recipients. Otherwise, others could send emails to the LDB in your name.
What happens to file attachments in an email?
All files included in the email will be saved in the LDB with the email and can be viewed and commented on by you and your colleagues in the LDB.
Where can I find the forwarded emails?
All submitted emails appear in the note overview (Navigation Bar Customers Notes).
If an email address is found for a customer in the LDB, the email will appear in the corresponding customer view.
Tips for saving contacts in Outlook:
Under the tab (* Start(* you will find the address book button.
Selecting this button opens the address book, displaying already saved contacts.
You can add a new contact to the address book via the tab * File New Entry *
By selecting new contact, a new entry opens that can now be adjusted.
It is best to name the contact LDB Inbound and enter the email address with which you can forward emails to the LDB.
