Regular participation and passing of proficiency interlaboratory tests or interlaboratory examinations is a requirement by DAkkS, but it is also of interest to non-accredited laboratories to verify the correctness of their working methods. The LDB supports you in the evaluation and planning of these examinations.
We are happy to assist you in setting up the evaluations and input mask. Simply contact your LDB customer advisor for this purpose. Provision is free of charge, adjustments according to your requirements fall under special services.
Here is a description of one way to represent proficiency tests in the LDB. The representation of proficiency tests in the LDB can generally be divided into three parts: proficiency test parameters, proficiency test evaluation, and proficiency test planning.
### Proficiency Test Parameters
Proficiency test samples are created as normal samples in the system for collecting proficiency test data. It is advisable to combine these in one order. For the parameters, copies of existing parameters can be created, which receive extra columns for the required data:
Another option is to create a proficiency test parameter, link the corresponding parameter to it, and specify it often in the proficiency test sample using the measurement repetition:
It is important that the data that will later be evaluated or displayed in an overview (e.g., the Z score) always appears in the same column in the parameters.
### Proficiency Test Evaluation
Displaying the results via SQL evaluations and diagrams provides a good overview. For proficiency test evaluation, it is advisable, on the one hand, to have the most important data from recent years displayed clearly at a glance:
A visual representation, e.g., of the Z scores, can facilitate problem detection:
Further views can display more details clearly:
### Proficiency Test Planning
Proficiency tests can be planned using a (individually customizable) input mask **(Attention: This feature is only available with the Enterprise Cloud)**:
Employees who should only be able to see the planning can receive a corresponding view:
For an overview of proficiency tests, it is advisable to create a separate dashboard for this area.
