Create customer

The guide describes how to add customers to the system, including navigation paths, entering customer information and configurable master data, as well as options for archiving or locking customers and adding warning notices.

You can add customers directly using the following path: Navigation bar Customers Add Customer
or via the customer list: Navigation bar Customers Customers Add Customer

In Section A, you can add customer information, as well as a logo and tags to make it easier to find the customer later (see image below).

In Section B, you can add custom attributes such as discounts, set up access for the customer zone, and adjust visibility for employees. An overview of the options for configurable master data can be found under configurable master data fields in the LABORDATENBANK.

Info: After saving the customer, you can also add further contacts to this customer (see instructions: Add contact persons at customers).

At the bottom of the page, you have the option to archive or lock customers. Additionally, you can add a warning text that will be displayed when creating orders and sending reports and invoices. For example: Attention: Customer is in arrears.
