In the navigation bar, select Customers and click on 8D-Reports to access the overview of existing 8D-Reports. Here you will find the link Create 8D-Report, which takes you to the view of the selection and input fields for the 8 Steps of the 8D-Report. Assemble a Team for Problem Solving and create the Problem Description.

Furthermore, you define Immediate Actions, determine the Root Cause, plan Corrective Actions, and specify which employee is to carry out the respective steps by when.
If necessary, multiple measures can also be created. The measures are automatically stored as tasks for the selected team members.
Identify Preventive Measures to avoid repeat errors. Activate the checkbox to document completed steps as done.

After completing the 8D-Report, you can enter an Assessment and mark the 8D-Report as completed.
If necessary, activate Notify all team members via email. This will inform all participants about the creation or your changes to the 8D-Reports.

The 8D-Report is part of the QM module of the Lab Database or part of the QM Database.
