activate a Security Key for the MFA
How to activate a Security Key for the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) of the LDB
If you don't have a Security Key yet, you can order one from some providers. For example: https://www.yubico.com
1.) To activate Multi-Factor Authentication with the Security Key, click on your abbreviation in the navigation bar at the top right, and then click on edit my account (see _LINK_TO_PAGE=244).
2.) Activate Security Key
3.) Connect the Security Key to the USB port on your PC and click the button on the Security Key
4.) Set a name for the Security Key
5.) Log in to the LDB again and click the button on the Security Key. 2FA with the Security Key is now activated.
-> Additional Security Keys can be added using the same process (e.g., as a backup).
-> The YubiKey can also be used for logging in with a smartphone/tablet in the LDB via NFC or USB-C.
