Verify authenticity of reports and certificates

The integrated validation function enables you to meet current compliance requirements while protecting yourself against forged documents. Your customers can immediately verify the authenticity of PDF certificates and test reports themselves. This saves you follow-up inquiries and provides security for all parties involved. You will score points in audits with transparent traceability. Customers, buyers, goods recipients, and regulatory authorities receive the required proof of authenticity.

Function

  • With the integrated validation function, goods recipients, clients, and inspectors can validate the document via an upload portal—the Labordatenbank checks the authenticity of the test report and document integrity in the background and confirms its authenticity.
  • To do this, you can embed a QR code in the template of your PDF documents. The QR code provides the link to the validation function.
  • And/or you can embed the link directly in your document.
  • You can make the validation function available on your website.

Validation Process

  1. For example, on all reports created with your Labordatenbank, a link and/or QR code can be listed at the end of each PDF in your disclaimer texts:

  2. On this website (https://labordatenbank.com/demo/uploads/validate_form), the document can be uploaded ("Musterlabor" in the source code still needs to be replaced here). In the background, we check whether the uploaded document contains a unique key generated once during creation and stored in the document:

  1. If the match is positive, a confirmation follows that the document was created in your Labordatenbank, and its authenticity is confirmed. The verification result appears immediately after the upload:

  1. If the document has been manipulated, copied, or forged, a message appears stating that its authenticity cannot be confirmed:
