When a material is used in a sample, the approved batches of that material are suggested and can be linked. You can then check in the LIMS at any time which samples used a particular batch. This is important when recalling or blocking defective materials.
Documents such as safety data sheets (SDS) can be uploaded directly to the material or batch record for decentralised storage. You can receive reminders to upload new safety data sheets before the existing ones expire.
Consumption and expiry dates are automatically taken into account for each batch. Used-up or expired batches are no longer suggested to laboratory staff. Overview screens show when new orders are needed.
Yes. GHS numbers and H and P statements can be maintained in the designated fields and are converted into the corresponding pictograms.
Yes. You can automatically create batch samples from batches. The full range of LDB tools is available for these samples. This also allows you to document your own batch production.
