The LIMS test equipment detail view contains the tabs: Notes, Control batches, Equipment bookings and 8D reports

Under Add new task, you can create all tasks that directly affect this test equipment and can be linked to a specific date. This is also ideal for recurring tasks such as checks, maintenance work, calibrations, adjustments, etc.

Under Notes you can see a chronological list of everything that has happened with this test equipment. You can use new notes to document what has happened to the test equipment. A date and files can also be stored for each note. For example, you can document a test equipment repair in a note and store the repair confirmation as a PDF.
Under Control charts, you can create control charts in which quantitative control measurements are continuously entered. For example, the temperature of a refrigerator is continuously measured and entered in a control chart with defined upper and lower limits. If the limits are exceeded, the test equipment is blocked.

Equipment bookings allow you to book test equipment for a defined period. This allows you to see when which test equipment is booked for use. Upcoming tasks and entered bookings are displayed in the calendar.
8D reports allow the documentation of problems or defects with a test device. Each 8D report contains a team responsible for the solution, a description of the problem and the planned measures.
