Your Labordatenbank includes an integrated file management system. With this system, you can store files for samples, customers, and orders.
Procedure
Select either
Customers,
Samples, or
Orders depending on where the file should be uploaded. Click on the corresponding tab in the navigation bar to go to the area where you want to upload the file.
After opening the customer, sample, or order, look for the tab labeled
Files .
The Drag & Drop file upload is faster and allows you to add multiple and larger files up to 1 GB to orders, samples, notes, testing equipment, etc.

Editing and Adding Interfaces
- For files, you can add a description and tags, with previously used tags being automatically suggested during input.
- Interfaces/Links: Directly assigning files to customers, orders, and limit tables significantly simplifies data management. Additionally, you can enable a checkbox to allow the display in the customer zone.
- Import interface: Here you can upload measurement values in the form of a CSV file and import the values into the laboratory database.
Info: You can further process the uploaded files with the internal
Dateiverwaltung. In the file overview, you can now select multiple files and download them collectively as a ZIP archive. This feature is helpful if you want to download a large number of stored files at once.
QR Code Recognition for Categories of Stored Files
If you have connected your scanner to the laboratory database, you can automatically assign scanned documents to a file category using QR codes.
For example, create a document template for consent forms with the corresponding QR code so that after signing and scanning, the documents are automatically assigned to the file category "Consent Form."
