Click on the checkboxes to the left of each relevant sample in the sample list and then click on the button edit at the bottom of the sample list.
The page which appears allows you to edit samples as a group and make changes to the following:
1. You can change or modify sample data by entering the new value in the approriate filed and clicking on the save-symbol (floppy disk) to the right of the field.
2. Edit sample core data using a table
After clicking on the link you will be redirected to a table summarizing the sample core data.
There you can select which core data fields appear as columns (up to 4 fields can be displayed simultaneously). Using the button Show selected column updates the table to include the selected columns where the values can be modified. When you have finished modifying the values, remember to click the save button. (Tip: Should you forget to save your modifications, use the back function in your web browser to return to the previous page where you can then save the values you entered previously.)
3. Add / remove parameters
(Be aware that it is not possible to remove parameters for which values have already been entered.)
To add or remove parameters click on the plus or minus symbol respectively. Here your changes are saved automatically.
4. Delete samples A group of samples can be deleted by clicking on Delete all samples. You have the option of justifying your reason for deleting the samples. These samples are then sent to the recycle bin where they can be restored should the need arise.
