Deposit signature certificate

To sign your test reports or documents according to the standard PDF Advanced Electronic Signatures (PAdES), you can add a certificate to your signature in the Labordatenbank.

In user call June 2022 we will show you how to sign documents electronically in the laboratory database and how to order a corresponding certificate for your company.

To deposit the signature, you must first know and select the certificate type. The laboratory database currently supports "PEM", "P12" and "PKCS#12" certificates.

The certificate itself is now uploaded into the corresponding field, by drag-and-drop, or by clicking on it and selecting it.

A certificate key as a file only needs to be uploaded for the certificate type PEM and "PKCS#12", for "P12" certificates you do not need it.

There can be an optional certificate password for a certificate key. If you have received one, please enter it in the Certificate password field.

Last but not least, you will need to provide the password for your laboratory database account to legitimize that you are storing the certificate password for your account.

Important!: You can only deposit a signature certificate for your own account, not for another person's account.
