Add asset parts to asset

Instructions for adding suassets to an existing asset.

Navigation

To add a system component to an existing asset, follow this path:
Navigation bar → Customers → Click on the asset of your choice → + Add Subasset

Note: The exact names of the menu items may vary depending on the configuration of your LDB.


Add Subasset

  • Click on the blue highlighted name of the asset in the asset list to switch to the detail view.
  • Switch to the Subasset tab in the detail view.
  • Click on the + Add Subasset button and select the desired type of system component from the dropdown (e.g. Well or Spring).

Note: The types displayed in the dropdown are configuration-dependent and correspond to the permitted subasset templates stored in the asset template.

The following figure shows the dropdown for adding a new subasset in the detail view of an asset:

Enter master data for the subasset

The following figure shows the form for adding a subasset of the type Well:

  • Name: Enter a unique name for the subasset (e.g. Well 1).
  • Asset: The parent asset is already preselected (e.g. WVA Lindenweg).
  • GPS location: Enter the geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) of the subasset. Use the Load current GPS position link to automatically retrieve the position from your browser.
  • Master data fields (template-dependent): The fields displayed depend on the selected subasset template.
  • Files: Optionally, images or documents can be uploaded for the subasset (max. 1000 MB). A note for the file can be entered in the text field below.
  • Status: Select the status of the subasset (e.g. created).
  • The master data of the parent asset is displayed on the right side of the form for reference.

Note: Use the Show all fields link to display additional fields not preselected by the template. Edit Template takes you directly to the configuration of the subasset template being used.


Managing Subassets

The newly created subasset will subsequently appear in the detail view of the asset under the Subasset tab. Existing subassets are listed there and can be expanded as needed to view the stored master data.

Each subasset displays its master data in the expanded view as well as the following buttons:

  • Edit Subasset: Opens the editing form of the respective subasset.
  • + Inspection: Allows you to directly create a new inspection for this subasset. The available inspection types are displayed in the dropdown and are based on the permitted inspections stored in the subasset template.
  • Use Show archived Subassets to display archived entries.
  • The order of the subassets can be adjusted using the arrow icons on the right side of the list.
