General Process:
1.) During the measurement, the sample number is recorded on the measuring device (e.g., by manual entry of the sample number or via a barcode reader on the measuring device).
2.) After the measurement run, the results are collected and exported with the measuring device's control software and saved in an export file. CSV is generally used as the file format, but there are also other formats such as TXT, XML, etc.

3.) In the designated Import Measured Values mask of the Labordatenbank in the Import Interfaces section, the export file is uploaded.

4.) By clicking "Import Values", the test results from the export file are automatically saved to the respective samples in the Labordatenbank based on the sample number.

Data Structure / Format of the Export File
The structure or format of the export file differs from one measuring device to another and is adapted individually for your measuring device. If you want to use a new measuring device for importing measurement data into the Labordatenbank, send us an example export file from your measuring device, and we will set up a new import interface for you.
If you want to create a new import interface, follow the instructions Create CSV measurement data import interface.
The export file should contain at least the following fields: sample numbers, parameter ID, measurement result.
