Deleted Records

The Recycle Bin view of the LDB chronologically lists deleted data records and enables their restoration.

Navigation

Open the overview of deleted records via:
Navigation bar → Settings → Trash can

Note: The exact labels may differ depending on the configuration of your LDB.


Overview

The Deleted Data records overview lets you:

  • View deleted records, listed chronologically and grouped by date
  • Filter the display by data type
  • Open the details of a deleted record
  • Restore accidentally deleted data

Structure of the Trash can view

Deleted records are grouped by date and displayed chronologically within each day.

Each entry contains the following information:

  • Time and data type: The time of deletion and the type of the deleted record (e.g. Setpoint, Sample, Design element).
  • Label: The bold name or number of the deleted record (e.g. Sample 260073).
  • from: The person who deleted the record.
  • Reason for delete: If a reason was provided when deleting, it is shown in addition.

Functions

Filter by data type

A filter is available to show only deleted records of a specific type.

  • Click the Data types button in the top left.
  • Select the desired data type from the dropdown (e.g. Samples, Orders, Customers).
  • Use the all entries option to clear the filter again.

Show details

  • Click Details on the desired entry.

Restore a record

  • Click Restore on the desired entry.
  • You are then taken directly to the restored record.

Note: A record can only be restored within 30 days of deletion. After that, the Restore button is no longer available.
You can, however, still view the deleted record data.


Deleting a record

Deletion is always done in the edit view of the respective record.
For example, to delete an existing order, go to Edit order and click Delete order there.
