Costs of using AI
The lLDB LIMS user license includes AI usage in the amount of 10 million AI tokens per user per month.
The Labordatenbank user license of €99 per user per month included AI integration and contains 10 million AI tokens per user.
For example, if you have 25 users in your Labordatenbank, your company has a quota of 250 million AI tokens per month at its disposal.
The quota of AI tokens is shared by all users and is designed so that the AI integration can be used by all users over the course of a month with typical use.
If there are users who do not use the AI integration, more AI tokens are available to the remaining users or the AI tokens are also used for AI integrations that run in the background (e.g. AI imports).
The amount of AI tokens used depends on the selected AI model, the size of the question including context (input token) and the size of the returned answer (output token) and is usually between 100 and 1,000 tokens per question and between 100 and 3,000 tokens per AI import.
If the AI tokens used are exceeded, the tokens above this amount are charged at €2 per 1 million AI tokens up to a selectable overrun limit.
