Below, we provide you with a step-by-step guide for the automatic import of results from a Biomerieux Vitek analysis device into your Labordatenbank LIMS system. Both MIC values will be imported as results via the interface.
First, create your antibiogram parameters:
Use the following structure:
Import Key: Abbreviation from the Vitek file
Column 0: MIC value
Column 1: Result
Create a new import interface
Enter the name of the import interface and define the properties of the export file:
Note: Biomerieux exports the file with a .xml extension, but the content is not XML. Therefore, select type CSV and pipe as the delimiter.
Select the import mode "update" and "parameter import key" as the corresponding selection, then upload a test file.
Before you can map the Biomerieux export file, a transformation with a script is required. You can have the script created or obtain it from your Labordatenbank customer advisor.
In the next step, you can define which data from the file should be transferred into the Labordatenbank (import mapping). Determine yourself which raw data you want to import into your Labordatenbank LIMS - e.g., with or without MIC values.
Now create a sample with antibiogram parameters:
Save the import mapping:
Scan the sample number in Vitek and wait until the file is automatically imported into the Labordatenbank. Alternatively, you can also upload the file via Menu Bar -> Samples -> Import Interfaces.
The values are now automatically imported:
