How can I calculate the average from five measured values?

This document addresses a user's request for a corrected formula to calculate the mean of five measured values in a Labordatenbank. It confirms the formula has been fixed, provides a screenshot of the solution, and explains the abbreviations used in the formula (avg for average, MPV for parameter, m for matrix, and 1 for column 2). It also includes a tip for data structuring for easier reporting.

Dear Mr. Wagner,
Please find enclosed a question from me:
I had tried to generate the mean value from 5 measured values using the formula in column (5?) “Mean value”, unfortunately I probably made a mistake when creating the formula.
Could you please tell me the formula to get the mean value from the measured values at the end?

Hello Mr. ****,
It's great how well you have documented the task with a screenshot and sample number. We were able to understand this immediately and solve it straight away.
The formula has been corrected as requested. I have solved this as follows:

The abbreviations stand for the following data:

avg: Average = average
MPV: Abbreviation of the parameter
m: Matrix to address cells
1: Column 2 (the computer starts with 0 as the first column)

Greetings,
Konrad M. Wagner
