The open structure table is ideal for designing according to any specifications. Each cell of the table can be individually formatted and the type of displayed data can be customized.
As data options, you have access to all parameter values, sample master data, and free text.
You can display data from up to ten samples.
The following describes how to create the example table shown here:

- Create the report table and select the Table with open structure as the Table type. (See instructions: Create report table with Report Table Editor.)
Note: For the next step, + Cell to be displayed, you must save the report template once.
- Click on + Cell.
- Define the properties of each cell:

- Use the right + Cell button to add another column, and the bottom + Row button to start a new row. Use the blue arrow to move the existing row up or down.
Note: You can only move entire rows up and down, and within a row, you can move individual cells left and right.

- Row 1:
Cell 1: Select the Data option Free text and enter "Sample number" into the text field.
Cell 2: Select the Data option Sample master data and the Sample No. and define that this is the 1st Sample of this table.
Cell 3: Select the Sample No. via the Sample master data option and define that this is the 2nd Sample of this table, etc.
- Row 2:
Cell 1: Select Free text and enter "Sampling location" into the text field.
Cell 2: Select Sample master data and Sampling location and define that you want to show the sampling location of the 1st Sample.
Cell 3: Select Sample master data and Sampling location and define that you want to show the sampling location of the 2nd Sample, etc.
- Row 3:
Cell 1: Select Free text and enter "pH Value".
- Row 4:
Cell 1: Select Free text and enter "Value 1".
Cell 2: Select the Parameter "pH Value", the relevant Parameter column and 1st Sample.
Cell 3: Select the Parameter "pH Value", the relevant Parameter column and 2nd Sample.
etc.
