Testing the HTTPS Import Interface

In the following guide, you will be shown how to test the transmission of data via HTTPS into the Labordatenbank using the reqbin tool.

It is often cumbersome or not desired to test data transmission via CSV or directly from other systems. Therefore, it is recommended to simulate the transmission.

Reqbin is a tool that allows exactly such a test. You can use it to check the responses of the Labordatenbank server and, if necessary, optimize your entries.

Example of an HTTP POST Request simulation:

  1. a) Create a CSV import interface in your Labordatenbank
Please note that there should be no ? before CSV attributes in the import mapping.
    b) Assign username & password for HTTPS reception

  1. Enter this data in the Reqbin tool:

a) Select POST
b) Enter the URL of your interface in the URL field
c) Select Authorization -> Basic Auth and enter the access data for your interface

d) Click on Send.
If everything worked, you will see in the Reqbin tool that values were successfully attempted to be imported.

On the other hand, you will also see this import attempt in the import interface.

  1. Copy the content of the CSV file into the Content field in Reqbin. Then the content of the CSV file will be transmitted to the Labordatenbank. Please note the import mapping (no ? for CSV attributes)

Now you will see the successful import through an HTML text.
