Sign reports

Sign your reports directly in the laboratory database for digital dispatch as a PDF report. Reports are saved in PDF/A-3b format. PDF/A documents are designed to be opened and read for decades without losing content or formatting.

Sign reports individually
Click on the sign icon (sheet with pen, to the outer right of the report number) for the relevant report.

Sign multiple reports at the same time
Select the reports to be signed in the report overview (Samples -> Test reports) and then click on Sign selected reports.

Request signatures
Alternatively, you can also request signatures.
See manual: Request signature

You will then receive the signature screen in which you enter your laboratory database password for confirmation.

After confirmation, an image of the signature is inserted in the selected reports and the reports are saved unchangeably in the current form. If you wish to subsequently change a signed report, this is done by reissuing the report.

For information: For each report, a unique key is stored in the laboratory database; the key identifies the signed PDF report with the entire content. This makes it possible to check at any time whether a signed PDF report has been subsequently manipulated.

You can sign up to 50 reports in one go.
But be careful: The more reports you sign in one go, the longer the processing on the server takes (approx. 3 sec. per report). Let the transmission run until you see the following confirmation:
