With the help of the LDB, you can generate suggested prices for each order. There are two different ways to do this:

Integrated ‘Suggest billing items’ function
In the billing area of the orders, there is a button labelled “Suggest billing items”. When you click on this button, the laboratory database searches for prices that match the parameters, test packages and/or specifications in the samples for this order and suggests them in the corresponding quantities. The samples assigned to this billing item are written in the comments. Next to the suggested price items, there are checkboxes that can be used to decide which of the suggested billing items should be included in the order. To accept the billing items, click on “Add selected billing items”.

Autofill via evaluation
From 2026 onwards, prices can be suggested with the help of evaluations. The following columns are available for this purpose:
price_id: ID of the price to be shown on the invoice (mandatory)
stk: Number of this price item (optional)
price: Price, which may differ from the stored price (optional)
comment: Comment, usually the sample numbers are listed here separated by commas. (optional)

In the evaluation, the option “Suggest billing items” must be selected under “Appears in”. This causes this evaluation to appear in the orders in the billing area in a drop-down menu on the “Suggest billing items” button in a drop-down arrow. After selecting the evaluation, the billing items suggested by the evaluation appear and can be selected or deselected via checkboxes before being added to the order billing by clicking on “Add selected billing items”.
