Every analysis device that generates an export file with measurement values can be connected to LDB. To connect your existing GC/MS analysis device to your LDB LIMS, you need an export file and access to the LDB LIMS import interfaces. You can generate the export file directly in the GC/MS. The LDB import interfaces can be found under Menu bar -> Samples -> Import Interfaces.

To connect your GC/MS, perform the following six steps:

1. First, review the export file. In the following

The following points are noteworthy:

• There is no sample number for automatic assignment
• The attribute row is in row 8
• TabStop is used as a delimiter
• Not all rows have a result
• For not all listed parameters, a peak / concentration was determined by the GC

2. Create a new import interface.
   Specify the properties of the file to be processed
   

3. Upload the file as a sample file
   

4. In the import mapping, define which information from the file is assigned to which location in the Labordatenbank
   

5. Upload the measurement file of your GC for a sample
   

6. Check the import
