Measurement value evaluation based on reference range values

In the LDB, you can specify that measured values are evaluated automatically. To do this, you can storereference range values and text modules at various levels and use them for evaluating measured values during the test and in the report, depending on your requirements.

You can specify that measured values are evaluated automatically.
This automatic evaluation can be configured at two levels: at the parameter level or at the specification level. The choice depends on whether the evaluation logic for the parameter is always the same or varies depending on the test procedure.

Example: Multiple reference range values for a parameter
For example, several different reference range values may apply to the same parameter. The reference range values yellow and orange are defined for the parameter Visual color.

Evaluation at the parameter level
Evaluation of the reference range value at the parameter level is appropriate if the reference range for this parameter is always applicable. An additional column with the corresponding formula is created for the evaluation.
Further information: Deposit formulas with parameters

Evaluation at the specification level
The Evaluation of the reference range value is created at the specification level if the evaluation of the measured value can vary depending on the test procedure.
Further information: Add specification limits / reference ranges
